The print template design. This is what really put us on the map and continues to be one of our most unique features. Every booking comes complete with custom graphic design of your print template.
What is the print template? It is the final product happy guests walk away from the photo booth with. It’s the tangible printout of their photos they usually keep for years to come.
Why does it matter? The two most important things guests experience when using a photo booth are: the experience and what they take home. Why send them home with prefabbed clipart? Give them something they will want to frame and display for years. Something that will remind them of the fun time they had at your event.
Tech Talk: In seven years in business, we have created thousands of custom print templates for our happy clients. To say we take our printing seriously is an understatement. To give your guests the best possible product to take home with them, we don’t use cheap printers. And you certainly won’t find any ink jet with us. We use roll-fed dye sublimation printers. Better quality than you get at your local photo developer. Our printouts print within 14 seconds and are fully laminated and ready to hold as soon as they come out. (No shakin’ it like a Polaroid, here!)
OH! And our printouts are water proof, wine proof and smudge proof.
Modern 4×6 Layout vs. Dual Strip Prints
The print template can be any layout you wish with any number of photos, art elements, wording, etc. However, there are two initial ways the printer will print.
Modern 4×6″ – prints one full 4×6″ printout each time the booth is used. The pro is it allows for a lot more room for customization, wording, and design. They are also easier to frame and purchase frames for.
Dual Strip 2×6″ (Classic Strips) – prints TWO 2×6″ printouts each time the booth is used. It resembles the classic ‘strip’ style. A cool feature is it prints two copies. This is a popular option for schools, fundraisers, prom events. Also for any wedding that requests scrap booking. (One for the guest, one for the book)
